Helping Jordan Achieve Sustainable Development

UNDP’s current 2008 to 2012 County Programme is based on the
2006 UN Country Common Assessment (CCA) and the 2008 to 2012 UN Development Assistant Framework (UNDAF) , in addition to the strategic planning documents of the country: the National Agenda and the Kulluna Al Urdun (We are all Jordan).

UNDP's 2008 to 2012 Country Programme (CPD) and its Action Plan (CPAP) address key areas to achieve the following three main UNDAF outcomes:
(a) quality of and equitable access to social services and income generating opportunities are enhanced with focus on poor and vulnerable groups and social services;
(b) good governance mechanisms and practices established towards poverty reduction, protection of human rights and gender equality in accordance with the Millennium Declaration; and
(c) Sustainable management of natural resources and the environment.
