Internship in UNDP Jordan

The goal of this Internship Program is to offer successful candidates an opportunity to improve their skills as well as the experience of working in an international environment. Interns generally find the experience to be rewarding and interesting.

To be eligible for the Internship Program, candidates must be currently enrolled under graduate or post-graduate students with plans to return to school in a full-time capacity.

The Program typically seeks candidates wit an outstanding academic performance in fields related to development: economics, finance, human resource development, social science, environment, private sector development, as well as other related fields. Fluency in English is required. Prior relevant work experience is an advantage.

UNDP does not provide financial support. Interns are responsible for their own travel, living accommodations, and any other expenses.

The UNDP accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during an internship.

Interns must keep confidential any and all unpublished information obtained during the course of the internship and not publish any reports or papers based on such information without explicit written authorization by the Head of Unit or Division.

The Program does not offer paid intern positions at any time. Most positions are located in UNDP Amman office or hosted within one of the UNDP funded projects.

Internship duration is for a minimum of eight weeks and a maximum of 16 weeks. UNDP internship programme is not connected with any employment, and there should be no expectancy of such.
